Hondo Launches New 0% Interest Rate Loan Program to Strengthen Local Small Business Growth

Eligible entrepreneurs can access interest-free loans of up to $35,000, helping reduce barriers that can limit business expansion and long-term sustainability.

HONDO, TX, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Hondo Economic Development Corporation (Hondo EDC) has partnered with LiftFund to launch the Hondo 0% Interest Rate Loan Program aimed at expanding access to affordable financing for small business owners in the Hondo community. Through this initiative, eligible entrepreneurs can access interest-free loans of up to $35,000, helping reduce barriers that often limit business expansion and long-term sustainability.

LiftFund will host a free information session to guide potential applicants through the program’s eligibility requirements, application process, and allowable uses of funds on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 1 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to program staff and receive tips on preparing a successful loan application. The program is designed to support both emerging and established small businesses by providing flexible capital for startup costs, business expansion, equipment purchases, staffing, inventory, and working capital needs.
